Hi, I’m Angela

I create my original art in my home studio in Prescott, Arizona, using a style derived from my love of the past. As a youngster, I was always drawing, painting, and sewing creative pieces. Born in Germany, where the Air Force stationed my dad, I grew up in Southern California. Of course, my family often visited Disneyland and there, my curiosity and imagination blossomed. Today, I am inspired by old movies and TV shows, vintage clothing, classic objects, and Googie architecture. So, I work at making my Mid-Century Modern pieces fun, colorful and unique.

I began my art career while living in Illinois, where I started a business creating murals and faux finishes for clients' homes. Tom, my beloved husband, was an automotive expert and business owner. Sadly, not long after we made a long-planned move to Arizona, I lost him in his prime to cancer. After recovering from the devastating loss, I devoted myself to fulfilling a lifelong desire to create unique art. This is how Mid Mod Flair was born. It truly is a place, "Where art and imagination take a journey back in time."
