Angela Kumbera creates her original art in her home studio in Prescott, Arizona. Her artistic style derives from her love of the past. As a youngster, she was always drawing, painting, and sewing creative pieces. Growing up in Southern California, her family often visited Disneyland and there, her imagination grew. Today, old movies and TV shows, vintage clothing, classic objects, and Googie architecture inspire her. Her Mid-Century Modern-style pieces are fun, colorful and unique.
Angela began her art career while living in Illinois, where she started a business creating murals and faux finishes for client's homes. Her husband Tom was also a business owner, and sadly, not long after they made a long-planned move to Arizona, she lost him in his prime to cancer. After recovering from her devastating loss, she devoted herself to her lifelong desire to create unique art. This is how Mid Mod Flair was born. It truly is a place, "Where art and imagination take a journey back in time."
